Randy Lyle Klinski, 55, of Caledonia, Minnesota was called by his Heavenly Father to his eternal home on Saturday, December 5, 2015.

Randy was born December 1, 1960, in La Crosse, Wisconsin to Lyle and Marie (Slama) Klinski. On May 12, 1979, Randy married the love of his life Debby Olafson. They have lived in the Caledonia area their entire life.

Randy had a very strong faith in his Lord and Savior. Faith and family are the things that mattered most to Randy. He was a true friend to everyone. If you needed anything you could call him and he would be right there to help and he would always go above and beyond. Randy was ‘The genuine good guy’ with a heart full of love and compassion. His sense of humor was beyond compare. He was always smiling and always had a story or a joke to share.

Randy was so talented at so many things. He loved farming and was really good at it. Randy’s farm (Rocky Meadows) kept him busy doing the things that he loved; working outdoors, fencing, driving Holty’s big machinery and crop farming with his son Jason.

Another earthly joy Randy had was his love of American motor cars. His collection included the Javelin, the Rebel Machine and he was especially fond of his AMX and of course the Jeep Wagoneer. He loved going to car shows and made a yearly trip to Cordova, Illinois to do some drag racing.

He was employed by Winona Controls of which he was the former owner. He was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Caledonia.

Randy is survived by his wife of 36 years Debby, three sons Joe, Jason (Beth), and Justin (Bethany). Grandchildren Marissa, Joseph, Adelynn, Andrew, Lily, Connor, Waylon and Lavinia.

Randy could not be more proud of his family, they really were his whole world. He is also survived by his father Lyle Klinski, two brothers Richard (Yin Ciao), Ronald (Sharon) and two sisters, Grace Anderson and Nancy (Tim) Rieck. Brother-in-laws David (Sheri) Olafson, Jim (Pat) Olafson, Gordon Olafson, Ardell Olafson. Sister-in-laws Ann (Bill) Miller, Gloria (Dennis) Erickson, Arlene (Norman) Larson, Jeannie Lafayette, Sherie (Clinton) Brainard and many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Randy was preceded in death by his mother Marie Klinski, mother-in-law Adella Olafson, father-in-law Melvin Olafson, his brother Gary Klinski, his grandparents and brother-in-laws, Jordan Anderson, Bill Milller, Junior Olafson, Dennis Erickson and Norman Larson.
