Deanna “Jo” Colsch, 53, of Coral City, Wis., (originally of Reno, Minn.) passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, May 11, 2016 in Whitehall, Wis.
Jo was born to Evelyn (Colsch) Bebee in Rolla, Mo., on March 23, 1963. She was married to Bruce Erickson and they later separated. Her passion for cooking enabled her to cook at various locations throughout the years. She was always the first one to volunteer when there was any cleaning involved. She also loved to play any kind of cards or board games. She will be deeply missed by her family, many good friends, caretaker, Jeff Nottespan, and two cats, Maggie and Lucy.
Jo is survived by her three sons, Dustin (Nicole) Heiller, Denny Heiller and Dillon Heiller and their father, Brad Heiller; her parents, Edward and Evelyn (Colsch) Bebee; four grandchildren, Bradley, Hailey, Andrew and Evelyn; sisters, Wanda Kirkpatrick, Rhonda Bebee and Sharlene Bebee; nieces and nephews, Rachel Woodard, Chyann (Brandon Moore) Weber and Rashad Weber; one great niece, Fraya Moore; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Edward, Sr. and Evelyn Colsch; uncles, Herbert “Herbie” Colsch, Edward, Jr. “Lug” Colsch; nephew, Adam Woodard and brother-in-law, Dan Kirkpatrick.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, at Evangelical Church of Peace, in Freeburg, Minn. Rev. William Reese will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday before the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
