James H. Dunn, 72, of Rochester, Minn., and formerly of Caledonia, died Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester.
James was born July 20, 1943 in Caledonia to Herbert and Winifred (Nestor) Dunn. He was a graduate of Loretto High School in Caledonia. In 1964, he married Mary Dolle in Hokah, Minn. and they later divorced. During his life, he worked at General Tires, La Crosse; Jack and Diane’s and Elsie’s, both of Caledonia; and Fastenal in Winona.
He is survived by three children, Deanna Stowe of Ellsworth, Wis.; Allen (Christina) Dunn of Hastings, Minn.; and Kevin (LeaAnna) Dunn of Rogers, Minn.; five grandchildren, Kenny, Maddie, Hunter, Addie and Mikaela; two sisters, Kay (Arvid) Nelson, of Houston, Minn.; and Mary (Leo) Dolle of Caledonia. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Michael.
A private family service will be held at a later date. McCormick Funeral Home, Caledonia, is assisting the family.
